M90 Closure - Gateside Diversions

Updated information on the closures and resulting diversions through Gateside has been shared by Amey as follows below.
The next phase of a £1.25 million refurbishment of Glenhead Bridge on the M90 near Glenfarg in Perth and Kinross will begin under a contraflow from Monday 2nd June.
Work has been ongoing on the M90 since Monday 5th May, under 24/7 lane closures on each carriageway, to upgrade crossover points, which will allow the installation of a contraflow traffic management system needed to undertake the refurbishment of Glenhead Bridge.
The essential maintenance, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, is scheduled to take place as follows:
Phase 2 - Monday 2nd June to Tuesday 29th July
A full bridge deck refurbishment of the M90 northbound carriageway, including concrete repairs, waterproofing, kerbing, surfacing and new expansion joints.
Replacement of the central reserve safety barrier, bridge parapet and safety barriers.
A contraflow will be in place 24/7 on the M90 southbound carriageway between junctions 8 and 9. The northbound carriageway will be totally closed within the contraflow extents.
On Thursday 29th May the M90 southbound will be closed overnight between Junction 9 and 8 from 8pm to 5.30am. M90 southbound traffic can exit the M90 at Junction 9 and follow the A912 to Gateside. Traffic can then turn right onto the A91 and follow the route to rejoin the M90 southbound at Junction 8.
The 24/7 lane closures will be in place on the M90 southbound from 5.30am on Friday 30th May through to 8pm on Monday 2nd June.
On Sunday 1st June the M90 northbound will be closed between Junctions 8 and 9 from 8pm. M90 northbound traffic can exit the M90 at Junction 8 and follow the A91 to Gateside. Traffic can then turn left onto the A912 and follow the route to rejoin the M90 northbound at Junction 9.
The contraflow arrangement on the M90 southbound will be in place on the M90 between junctions 8 and 9 from 8pm on Monday 2nd June.
There is an additional phase of work taking place from 29th July to 30th September and this may require further diversions.
