The Community Association
The Association exists to promote the well-being of the residents of Gateside and the surrounding district and to promote a community spirit among the residents.
The Association was formed in 1946 and the Memorial Hall was made over to the Trustees of the Association. One of the Association's most important functions is to continue to manage and maintain the Gateside Memorial Hall and to promote its use for the benefit of all residents.

Gateside Memorial Hall
Gateside Memorial Hall is absolutely central to the local community. It is available for private hire as well for community activities. More details on the history of the Hall and how to hire may be found here.

Sustainable Development Policy
Meetings
The Community Association meets in the Memorial Hall at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month. All residents of Gateside and the surrounding district are most welcome to attend. Should you wish any items to be included on the Agenda, use the Contact Us form to e-mail your suggestions.
Communication
The Community Association produces a monthly Newsletter which is distributed to all houses in the area. Contributions to the Newsletter are always welcome and should be sent to the Secretary - Kate Fernando.
