Andy Jones, the Manager of the Fife Safety Camera
Partnership has informed the Association that he has
programmed a speed survey to coincide with the start
of the new school term. This will determine the
success of his enforcement and ascertain the overall
speeds.
To date the FSCP has detected 191 offences and 15 of these offenders have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for consideration. It has a pending case where a non local motorist was detected doing 65 mph on the morning of 7 September.
Based on local intelligence from Mr and Mrs Jones (no relation to him) the FSCP deployed during the recent Airshow and on some of the Dunhill Golf days. Road Policing have also shown a presence in the village.
