A big thank you to everyone who was able to come along and help on Saturday, we managed to get through a lot of work and everything planned was achieved and more.
A special thanks to all the children who helped out and shovelled out 3 Tons (yes- 3 TONS) of compost from the skip provided by Binn Farm!
The path along to the Mill is now clear of overhanging branches and well strimmed back with the help of Bob Weston, Fife Ranger.
The school garden has had a really good clear up, and round the Hall we have levelled the lawn; fixed the garden gate; planted a wildlife garden; screened off the oil tank and cleared and planted halfway along the car park. Two new cherry trees at each end of the village will also add to the spring blossom in the village.
Thanks to everyone who brought food and provided support; to Binn Farm for the compost and to Bob Weston for providing tools and support.
