Binn Eco Park are re-submitting a planning application for a gasification plant to be built at Binn Skips near Glenfarg. They are moving away from the incinerator that was originally planned and public consultation will take place regarding the gasification plant. A public exhibition will be held at Strathmiglo Village Hall on June 22nd June and all people are encouraged to attend to see the presentation and ask questions of the support staff who will be on site. The site could have many implications for the local community with regards to extra traffic and possible visual issues so come along and see what is happening on our doorstep.
